All backtesting was done for last week. 2/5-2/10. Times 7am-340pm. Reason for one week is because previous week was full of news and i cant escape news while backtesting. So last week was an example for a regular week. Simply pause trading 5 mins after the news. Parameters slightly different, some are selected some are deselected. I am working on V3 to address some issues in secondary strategies.
Please note: all backtesting will contain some margin of error, no mater how good it is. The best way is to test strategy on SIM.
My benchmark for evaluating a strategy is that it needs to have at least 85% profitability rate. You can see that in “%Win” column. Average is 85%
Suggested strategy settings for other instruments. Download this zip file and extract it and copy those strategy .xml settings files to You can take these .xml files and copy them to your C:\Users\YourName\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Strategy\BounceTraderAlgoV2 and then simply right click on chart, select strategy – down there in the lower right corner is templates, select load and templates you downloaded should appear there. Select one for your instrument.
